Life for Life Walk 2013
Papa Joe Aviance had such a success with Life for Life Tour 2012 that he is gearing up to do it again in 2013! Papa Joe Aviance has lost over 250 lbs. in 18 months by walking. The weight was lost naturally, without the use of a gym, medical surgeries or crazy fad diets. Papa Joe is taking his message to the streets and the rest of the country to motivate others to start leading healthier lifestyles by walking. The Live for Life Tour will kick off in Daytona Beach, FL at the Bethune-Cookman University's Odessa Chambliss Center for Heath Equity on April 4th, 2013. Papa Joe Aviance is asking for your donation to the Live for Life Tour 2013 so he can get his message to the country and motivate others to start leading a healthier lifestyle.
Bethune-Cookman University's Odessa Chambliss Center for Health Equity is named for the mother of B-CU alumna Lucille O'Neal. Ms. Chambliss was a nurse who loved her profession. She also loved God and her faith was unshakeable. The Center's energies and resources are dedicated to addressing the social determinants of health, social justice, and reducing health disparities so that residents of the community can look forward to reaching their full health potential. The University's students also support the Center's activities through service learning projects which develop in them the capacity to effectively respond to the social, environmental and economic challenges associated with health and wellness.
Bethune-Cookman University, the Odessa Chambliss Center for Health Equity and Papa Joe Aviance are planning an event to remember for its students and the local community to WALK IT OUT!! The partnership will benefit the University by raising money and awareness about health and wellness as well as helping the programs created by the Odessa Chambliss Center for Health Equity. All donations are tax deductible and sixty cents for every dollar raised will be awarded to The Odessa Chambliss Center for Health Equity. The goal is $5,000. It's an ambitious goal but we believe that with your help we can raise it!!
