My daughter in Valerie's class is the oldest of my two children, so for the rest of my daughter's life, she will always be privvy to my many "first mom worries". She had an amazing year in kindergarten, and I was 'worried' that it would be a tricky year to follow in first grade. I 'worried' for no reason at all. Valerie has motivated, encouraged and empowered my daughter, and my daughter is soaring this year. It has been wonderful to witness her love of reading and writing and her continued self- confidence thanks to all that Valerie does for her and her classmates each day.
