Thank A Teacher - Mrs. Mora

Good morning all. I'm Diana Nickel, parent to Henry Nickel currently a kindergartener in Jessica Mora's room 100 (and Clara, in 3rd grade). GoFundMe has joined in the National Teacher Appreciation week by agreeing to match the first $100 that each classroom can bring in for their teacher. We need at least 5 unique individuals (and by that I don't mean personalities) to donate up to the $100, and GoFundMe will match that first $100.  Seems easy enough and a great way to say thanks to Jessica for all her hard work on a daily basis. My brief story is below.

Mrs. Mora's been such a huge part of my children's lives since we came to Olympic View in 2012.  My first child grew so much in confidence from Jessica and my second gained more self control than I ever could've imagined through her amazing skills in the classroom. Not only did she help my kids, but she helped me become a much more confident parent and navigate the waters of early elementary school.

I know that my family isn't the only one out there that's been touched by Jessica. I've never seen a woman care so deeply for each and every one of her students. She is a  true gem in the teaching world and her daily interactions with our children show me just how much she truly does care.

Please join me in thanking Mrs. Mora for being an awesome role model for our children. I know I'm not alone when I say that "my life has not been the same since she came into it."
