Hit Back on Heroin

·         In 2014, Ohio was number 2 in the nation for heroin use
·         Many people become addicted with one use of heroin
·         Young people are targeted and vulnerable to trying heroin
·         Heroin use increases crime and lowers a qualified work force (companies are reluctant to enter counties where this is true)
·         Dozens of teenagers, as young as 15, overdosed and died in 2014, according to the Ohio Department of Health
·         Many Ohio schools keep the drug Naloxone in stock to combat heroin overdoses at school

Heroin: Road to Ruin is 30-minute documentary composed of five six-minute segments. It is mainly targeted to teenagers with the goal of educating them to the deadly dangers of heroin in the hope they will never become a user. The video also has the potential to motivate existing users to seek help in becoming free of this drug.  

The Escape Zone Youth Center is involved in making this film. Money raised will cover the cot of filming and editing.  Funds are needed by June 15, 2016.  The film will be made available free on youtube.
