Family desperately needs help

This family needs some help with medical bills and essentials. They are struggling more and more since January and are in danger of losing their apartment. They have applied for food stamps and were turned down due to income.
In the past month, moms glasses have needed to be replaced and the insurance won't cover them. She's making do for now but will need them before she can drive or even catch the bus without assistance.
For those who don't know, this is a synopsis of what's been happening:
This past January, Dad got sick and ended up in the hospital in critical condition. He was intubated and sedated because of severe pneumonia caused by the flu. Fast forward to February 6th and another visit to the ER. This time they found clots in his lungs. He's now on shots of blood thinners.
The same day, on his 10th birthday, youngest son was rushed into the ICU at Children's hospital in critical condition. He was diagnosed with Ketoacidosis, a life threatening diabetic crisis. No-one knew he was diabetic! He now has to take four or more shots a day, for the rest of his life. What a horrible birthday present!!
Oldest son was diagnosed with asthma in December, right before Christmas and may be suffering, as well, from hypothyroidism. We are awaiting test results at this moment. He's been such a strong young man! He's trying very hard to help with little brothers shots and even taking care of mom when she needs it and still keep his grades up so he can continue in his pre-college program.
Mom has been sick since 2003 when she came down with West Nile Virus. She suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome, Fibromyalgia, central sleep apnea, pulmonary atrial tachycardia and debilitating migraines.
Needless to say, this family has had a run of horrible health and is feeling quite overwhelmed. What they would LIKE to do is go to Disneyland and just forget this for a week but with the hospital and medical bills piling up, along with the cost of medications even with insurance, they would be happy to just keep a roof over their heads. This wonderful family desperately needs a break! Any help you can give would be appreciated!
