Going simple and Tiny!

Hello everyone! Thank you for taking the time to checkout our gofundme. I've never asked complete strangers for help  or anyone outside my immediate family for that matter so I'm not exactly sure how to word this or how to sell you on our noble cause. Allow me to introduce my girlfriend and I, and give you a little information about us. My name is Beau Abbott and my lovely girlfriend is Sarah Bazinet. I am a 29 year old student at New Mexico state University working towards my BA in Criminal Justice and Psychology. I also work part time in the service industry like most college students. Sarah also works in the service industry. We also plan to start selling Crafts and other DIY projects to raise money to build our first home together, our first home will actually be a tiny house.
Sarah and I are fascinated by the idea of Cutting out useless material possessions and leaving behind a smaller carbon footprint, while showing the world a different way of life. Sarah and I have both lost a parent, and through our personal loss's we have come to see that life is to fleeting to take the little things in life for granted.
