Nepal Earthquake Response Volunteer

Donation protected
If anyone can help fly me to Nepal to volunteer in the earthquake recovery efforts.

I ordered my travel visa to Nepal and am now only $400 short from buying my flight. I will be volunteering with the earthquake recovery efforts for a month (possibly longer) and donating $4-5k in emergency aid; food, water filtration systems, medicine, first aid supplies, basic hygiene items and many international Survival Kits [ISKs]

The reason I couldn't afford the flight on my own is because I recently paid off $1269 on my cell phone bill from when I was in Ghana. Right now the cost of a round trip ticket is $1342. The cost has been going back up in price and will continue to go up the longer I wait.

If I do not reach my financial goal I will take "ALL" of the money received and donate it back (in public view) to the Nonprofit Organizations that are also desperately trying to respond to this crisis.

ISKS ARE DESIGNED TO:
• Bridge the gap after a disaster before additional help and resources arrive
• Save lives, alleviate suffering and prevent malnutrition...
• Mitigate sanitation and hygiene challenges
• Prevent the spread of contamination and disease
• Helps restore some human comfort, dignity and provides security.

A class at the Branciforte Middle School in Santa Cruz has created cards and letters that will be inserted into every ISK I bring. These cards will give the people in Nepal hope and strength in their individual recovery.

Please donate to my cause, my mission, please help me get to Nepal.... even $5 donation or social media share will get me closer to completing this mission. I had started this fundraiser project the very next day after the earthquake and would already be in Nepal if I had the funding I need.

Coincidentally I donated several ISKsto a girl I know that is also from Santa Cruz. The donation was for the people of Nepal or for her own use while volunteering in the villages. She has been there for a month now and we just got word that she is alright.
