2014 Great Banquet Project

The Great Banquet is an initiative put forward by Youth Under His Glory Ministry (Yuhglo) to bring food and the warmth of the Word of God to those who are without.

At least 3,000 people will experience homelessness on any given night in Baltimore – more than 30,000 over the course of a year. Many of these individuals day-by-day go hungry spiritually and physically. Although we can't reach this amount in a single project, by the grace of God we will avail ourselves to those whom we can reach. Thus we are initiating this feed the homeless project titled "The Great Banquet Project."

We are also aiming at packaging about 100-200 lunches contained in portable lunch bags. These bags will be given to a group of volunteers who will drive around the Baltimore City area in search of the homeless to deliver it to. In this years edition, we are also aiming at purchasing 200 ESV Bibles to give out as we are praying and sharing food with those we encounter. Our vision is to share the love of God and also speak about Christ to the homeless people in the area.

100% of the funds raised on this site will directly go into supporting this initiative . The fundraising, and donation deadline will be on December 25, 2013. And the official project will be in full effect whether snow or shine on December 27, 2013.
