2 Royalty FILM projects

It’s not easy to be a screenplay writer. Especially if you have a good idea and a written and polished film screenplay, but film companies still reject it.
It reminds me of the first book about ‘Harry Potter’ when all 12 agencies rejected it. And look at it now - all the world knows about the boy wizard.
Me (screenplay writer/producer Remi Mičiulis) and Lithuanian film director Ruslan Korostenskiy are looking for funding for a Lithuanian film ‘Kingdom of Lithuania’.
The screenplay was completed in Feb 2016 and is waiting to be turned into a feature FILM.
Film shooting would be in Lithuania and the UK (inside and outside castles).
If we get enough funds - film shooting could start SPRING 2018.
Funds will be used for crew, cast, travel and accommodation expenses, shooting costs, costumes, production costs and etc.
This film reflects not only Lithuanian history, but and what was happening in Europe in the 13th century (religion, God power, sword fighting, willingness to do anything to get the crown).
Film logline: ‘In turmoil of maps’
Synopsis:
Year 1236. After Mindaugas became the Grand Duke - he had the opportunity to unite the Lithuanian National principalities, which he took advantage of. Willingness and ability to lead his country into the European levels have become a permanent struggle for their own lives and the future of Lithuania ...
Using the same funds ...
After first film is finished, we will look at the second film project about British Royal family (film director could be changed to a British film director).
The film screenplay finished and polished in Aug 2013.
It will be a future/fantastic/action film about King William and Queen Catherine (current project name ‘Royal Excellence’).
As ideas are based and the screenplays are already written - we didn’t want to let it to die in a dusty drawer.
Some film production companies rejected the ideas because of big budget and risky investment. But all film projects are risky, aren’t they?
You must watch it. The world must watch it.
