Matteo Ferrer-Aza Dreams to Race
I am a young racing driver of Italian/Venezuelan/German decent. Having grown up in both England and Switzerland my ambition is to create a motorsport career and ultimately race in the highest level of the sport in the Formula One World Championship.
In 2012 I was a complete rookie. I knew that my maiden season in motorsport, in the UK Intersteps Championship, would be extremely challenging due to my total lack of any motor racing experience. Traditionally young racing car drivers have already acquired their motorsport grounding in karting, but for me this was not the case. Knowing I had a tremendous amount to learn in my very first season, I have worked hard to progress and done so under the guidance of the Allinsport Management team.
In 2013 I will participate in the more competitive and powerful category; Formula BARC Renault 2.0 with MGR Motorsport, which is a step up from my 2012 season in Intersteps Formula BMW.
As you can probably imagine, motorsport is expensive! While working hard to secure commercial partners and sponsorship, I would be very appreciative if you could assist me in funding my season. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support!
