Lucky has had a tough life! We rescued her around 6 weeks of age from a gutter. She had a horrible eye infection (in the picture above) that got somewhat better with rigorous treatment and monitoring!
However, her eye has gotten another ulcer on it and now her iris is prolapsed, which basically means that her eye is coming out of the ulcer...

We got quoted from a specialist for $1700.
However, we are going to an experienced non-specialist who has done enucleations on MONDAY JANUARY 21st, 2012.
It will cost at or just over $1000 after all expenses are included (initial visit, meds, etc)
