Ed Burns (Buckner Missouri) is STILL battling with cancer. He has had one of his kidneys removed and is currently going through immunotherapy. This specialized treatment is showing great promise in defeating his cancer but will leave Ed unable to work for quite some time.
Judy is working to pay the insurance premiums and medical deductibles in addition to all of the everyday living expenses that go along with managing a household. It has been really hard, if not close to impossible, for her to try to do this on one income. Her shoulders are broad and her constitution strong but the expenses keep piling up.
The Burns are wonderful and hardworking people. Ed is considered a pillar in the community for his endless volunteer work as a President of the Park Board and the many other community events he is involved in. This family is deeply loved by our community and we need to come together and help reduce the financial burdens that are plaguing Ed and Judy. THIS IS WHERE YOU CAN HELP!
