Community Healers Project

We will be teaching the alternative healing skills of Reiki and ear acupressure to Rogers Park residents through a special program. They will then share this with other people in the neighborhood. This can strengthen healthy social networks and create even more energy for community justice projects.

The project will be free for participants and very low cost overall, but we need a little cash for supplies and honoraria for our trainers.

Donations of $20 or more can receive a free 30 minute Reiki healing session at the Rogers Park Community Wellness Space during special Sunday or Monday hours in January & February.

Donations of $5 or more will receive a copy of our manual (when completed) on how to create community wellness programs in your neighborhood.
