SOAP BOX RANT- How is that we can like and share all kinds of stupid stuff on facebook, but when it comes to something that is helping some one else, people dont do anything. This world scares me, we are suppose to help others in whatever way we can. There are so many ways we can help Brian Poletto and his family. It doesnt just have to be money. So why is it that people will like and share all the stupid stuff, but wont just share or like Brian Poletto Our Hero. Thats is helping right there by just liking and sharing, I am just asking that you share the word. I dont think that is to much much to ask. So please if you have in your heart to share the page and spread the please do so. Its post all over my pages. This man has lost everything, his girlfriend, his girlfriends 4 children, his home and has also lost a month of his life due to being in a medicated coma in the hospital. Brian needs alot more than money, he needs support, love and prayers.
I dare each and everyone who see this to go like the Brian Poletto Our Hero and share his story.
UPDATE ON BRIANS CONDITION- Brian is still fighting, lets keep fighting too. Brian is fight so hard that he numbers arent getting better, but arent getting worse either. One of Brians nurses shouts his name and he opens his eyes. This is a good sign that he is responding to his name being called and he also moves his head a little bit to answer questions......
Theses are all good signs, he is still on dialysis, kidneys are trying to work on their own which is also another good sign.

Brian Update: Just spoke with brians nurse and he had a good night! Blood pressure is better and he received blood last night and this morning (nurse said its good that he is bleeding) He will need surgery on the SAME arm next week along with his back. His right arm is so bad so they have to do that arm again. Dr. wanted to do back yesterday to but he was bleeding to much and wanted him to get back to his room to receive blood. So next week will be same arm and back and the following week they will start the grafting. Thank God the xrays came back better today of his lungs (they gave him lasix not sure of spelling) and it helped to get some fluid out of lungs and he was peeing alot this morning which is also good :) his oxygen is at 60% and they turned the sedation down just a bit but still will be heavily sedated for at least 3 or 4 weeks (its all day by day) Continue praying this update made me feel better. Stay strong Brian we love you brother
Go check this Video out.....
I visited Brian yesterday after his surgery and he looks great. He looks so much more comfortable without all the tubes in his mouth. He is still fighting a little infection in his lungs. They also started cutting the dead, burned skin off his right arm. His blood pressure was a little low from blood loss during surgery. When I were at the hospital, I asked where to donate blood and the nurse told me that "when I donate, tell the blood bank it is for Brian Poletto and they will give credit to him." Even if its not his type, they still give him credit for it as to keep their blood supply up. So when people walk in to an OKC blood bank, all they have to is tell them it's for Brian. This will make it so the donor won't have to fill out the paperwork. I'm going to call her this morning and get it set up so at least he shouldn't have to pay for the blood. So with that said, PLEASE... PLEASE... PLEASE GO DONATE BLOOD!!! Even if your not in OKC, go to your local blood bank and donate!!!!!!!
We are not giving up the fight for Brian, lets not give up on spreading the word, Lets continue to tell everyone about the facebook pages and and the gofundme websites. Let continue to get the word out, Brian is going to have a long road to recovery in all parts of his life, so lets spread the word to everyone we talk to in order to help this hero.
Please share this story if it's in your heart ........PLEASE SAY A PRAYER....
On the morning of Dec. 26, the police knocked on our front door, along with the sister of Janine,(Brian Poletto's girlfriend), her husband, and brother. They were here to tell us that there had been a tragic fire at the home of my husband'
s brother, Brian Poletto, and Janine and her children has perished in the fire, and that Brian had been transported to an Oklahoma City hospital in critical condition. Brian has 3rd degree burns on his arms, hands, and entire back. He has 2nd degree burns that cover his entire face. He remains in critical condition, in an induced coma because of the damage to his lungs, which at this time continue to worsen. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE say a prayer for him. He escaped the fire and grabbed a ladder took it around the house to the childrens bedroom window and attempted to reach the children that way, but the house was already totally engulfed in flames. If you want to read more, at the top of your facebook page in the search bar type in " Medical bills for Brian Poletto" and it will direct to a web page. Brian is expected to be in the hospital for at least 2 months, and his medical bills will be out of this world. Again PLEASE SAY A PRAYER FOR HIM.
This is a message from Brian Sister-In -Law.
Brian was involved in a fire the day after Christmas in Oklahoma City. He has lost EVERYTHING! He tried to save his love, Jeanine Bonnet and all 4 of her and Mat's (their father) children in the house. In the course of his selfless actions, he was burned over 33% of his body. Brian was the only survivor and he is now clinging to life. If Brian does survive, he will have nothing left except medical bills that he will be paying on for the rest of his life. My wife, (Mehgan Stiles, Jeanine's sister), and Jeanine's brother, Zack Bonnet, and myself are asking for donantions for Brian so that when he does get out of the hospital, he has something. HE IS A HERO. He risked his life to try and save Jeanine and the kids and has now paid the ultimate price of heartbreak and loss. PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE help Brian! And ask yourself this, do you have it in you to be a hero by helping a hero? There will also be trust funds set up this week at Financial Horizons Credit Union in Hawthorne Nevada and at all Bank of America locations across the U.S. All donations are tax deductable. For more info on this story, Google "5 Dead In Oklahoma City Fire". Even a dollar goes a long way. Thank you! If you can not donate, please offer a prayor for Brian.
We visited Brian last night. He seems to be doing a lttle better eveyday. They are still working on getting all the soot out of his lungs. We seen his sisters off as they had to return to Chicago. But his brother, Tommy, is stating here. They expect to keep Brian in a sedated sleep stat for 3-4 weeks.
Brian's lungs are still clearing up. Unfortunatly, he now has a staph infection in his lungs. I was looking through some of the other fund raising pages and noticed that people have given donations to a man that just wanted a mobile homw. 60 people gave him $5260.00 just for a trailer. Please help us help Brian! If you have ever met Brian, you would want to do anything you can to help him. A cup of coffee or a candy bar is only a dollar.Brian's lungs are still clearing up. To ensure the children had the best Christmas possible, Matthew, his wife Jessica, the children Natalie, Samantha, Matthew Jr. and Kara, in addition to Matthew's mother spent the night at Jeanine Bonnet (his ex-wife) and Brian Polletto (her boyfriend) home on Christmas Eve. To give the children some extra time with Jeanine, the kids spent Christmas night with her as well. The following morning, a space heater caught fire, and quickly spread through the house. By the time the fire department arrived at the house, it was too late to save any of the precious lives of the children, or their mother. There were two survivors, one a family friend who was staying downstairs, and Brian Polletto. Brian jumped from the second story window to retrieve a ladder, which he then placed against the house to rescue Jeanine and the children. In doing so, he received second and third degree burns on 33% of his body, including face, arms, torso and back. Currently, he is sedated and on a respirator in critical condition in one of the local hospitals. He will have a long road of recovery, both physically and emotionally. Brian loved Jeanine so much that he gave up his job and life in Nevada to move to Oklahoma so she could be near her children. He loved her children just as much.
