Luna's Egyptian Balady Puppies
Hello and thank you for considering a donation to help me take care of my puppies. As some of you already know, I'm a professional belly dancer living in Cairo who rescued a mother and her 4 puppies almost two months ago. What happened was that the mother had been sleeping in the entrance of my building, and my disgrace of a landlord overreacted. He blamed me for feeding her and then threatened to shoot her with his gun. Unfortunately, shooting stray dogs is all too common in Egypt, so I took my landlord at his word and brought the dog and her babies into my apartment. As you can imagine, life has since gotten a lot more expensive. Between dog food, toys, cleaning agents, vet bills and vaccinations, it's getting more difficult for me to care for them until they've all been adopted (so far, 2 have been adopted). Additionally, I may very well have to pay all or part of the shipping costs to send them to their adopters in the US.
Since the work situation in Cairo isn't that good right now, I've decided to set up this page to accept donations from dog lovers around the world. Whatever you find it in your heart to give will be much appreciated and helpful. The money will help me purchase high quality dog food, and will help pay for necessary trips to the vet and vaccinations for the 5 dogs.
