While this pic was being taken at Pier 39 yesterday, someone was breaking into the team's rented vehicle and stealing their stuff! They lost personal clothes, wrestling gear, an xbox, a laptop, and the medal they had just won at the tournament they were attending. And of course their view of people was tarnished... No insurance will cover the loss... Are you willing to help replace their stuff as well as their belief that people are basically good? These are awesome kids and they sure could use a boost!

Someone in San Francisco found one of my student wrestlers school ID and mailed it back to the school district. There was a note saying that the found the ID near Market St, had seen a gym bag with clothes strewn on the sidewalk, but the bag and clothes disappeared. Good and bad news. The student was happy when I gave him his ID back at practice today.

Sad that neither the school district or the rental car company is willing to help out. These young men are economically disadvantaged and work extremely hard for anything and everything that they get! They are wonderful young men. It's a travesty that this had to happen to them. Yes, the grinch stole their Christmas spirit, but not their motivation to achieve success! I love these boys!
