Make me a baby miracle
We were married on February 27th, 2012, and like most newlyweds, we were super excited to finally start a family of our own. We started reading baby books, discussing themes for a nursery, and researching the meaning of different names. We thought it would be easy, but, alas, no baby.
Months went by, and we heard the standard suggestions to take a vacation and just relax, so we used up any vacation time and started yoga. We tried diets and cleanses, acupuncture, chiropractic treatments, energy therapy, herbs, increasing our exercise, naturopathic medicine, massage therapy, avoiding certain foods, eating lots of other foods-----if you've heard of it, we tried it! Yet, still no baby.
After an official diagnosis of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) . Yet, still no baby.
For 7 years in my previous marriage I was unable to conceive into this journey and we have now been advised that IVF is the method we will need to use to finally complete our family. Seems easy, right?
You know how every little girl dreams of getting married, wearing their mommy’s high heels, lipstick and pearls?
Well, I was one of those little girls who would dream for hours. My favorite pastime was being Mommy to my dolls.
Life most definitely sent me curve balls I was not expecting, but then doesn’t it send a curve ball to all of us? Regardless, after what seemed like an eternity of dating, I found myself engaged. I knew I wasn’t 18 anymore,.
At this point I have put whatever pride I have left away and I am reaching out to you to help me fund this last resort that I have. Medically, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for me, but the cost for this procedure will be $16,500. I just need some help to get to the finish line. Please help me have what so many of us take for granted. I want to be a mommy. Please.
