Friends,
As many of you know, Hurricane Sandy hit Brooklyn pretty hard. Mario's studio where he writes, records, and produces music was located in Evacuation Zone A. At the height of the storm a 6-foot wall of water came through the studio and the devastation was massive.
Over the past few weeks we've faced the tough realization that nearly everything Mario has collected throughout his career as a musician (some of it vintage) is damaged beyond repair.
Mario is looking forward to getting back on his feet, recording, and playing shows again and so I am reaching out to you for support.
~Update Dec 22: New pics posted
~Update Dec 3: Mario has moved from the storage unit to another studio (with the help of some great friends) and I am happy to report that it’s on the 2nd floor!
~Update Nov 16: We got some bad news today, the repair shop said the amps are beyond repair. Also, the damage to the stored equipment is much worse than we could have imagined. We’ve now realized our original goal was based on wishful thinking so we've adjusted it.
Many thanks for your support.
P.S. leave us a note with your donation so we can invite you to a comeback show!
