The Mixed Conference is a food blogging conference in Virgnia, November 30-December 2, at the beautiful Mountain Lake Hotel, which was the hotel for the movie "Dirty Dancing". I already have a conference ticket for the event, but am seeking funds to help pay for airfare (approx $500) and room ($240).
I have found great joy in my food blogging and promoting the value of food memories on my blog, Home Cooking Memories. Expanding my skills and learning all I can in the food blogging world has been an ongoing goal for me. I've found events, such as the Mixed conference, to be one of the best ways to learn and grown in my writing, recipe development, and food photography. Not to mention, the wonderful relationships that are created with others at blogging conferences.
