Over the last 6 years, Gossip Girl fans have banded together several times and in several ways to show that they care about the world, to show that they care about their fellow man, to show that they care about each other and to show that they care about their favorite show. We'd like to encourage you all to do that once again!
The east coast (New Jersey and New York, specifically) recently took a horrible hit by way of Hurricane Sandy. Several people lost their lives or their homes, and many historical sights have forever been changed. Several homes and businesses are still without power and a snow storm is now rocking the same area.
New York City has been the setting for this show since day one. It has become a character in itself, and it has also served as a home to the cast and crew for the duration of filming. Please, as a way to show your thanks to the city for housing one of your favorite shows for the last 6 years and as a way of showing that you care about it and the people who live there, join us by doing that in one of the best ways we can think of!

In addition to sending our prayers and kind thoughts, we would like to encourage the Gossip Girl fanbase to band together for a good cause. We're going to be collecting donations to send to the American Red Cross' Hurricane Sandy relief fund. Our goal amount is currently at $500, and we will raise it if it is reached quickly.
