Exciting news everybody! Sunday's Auction...
Exciting news everybody! Sunday's Auction House has decided to fundraise for the Danzilos at their art auction this weekend. A portion of their profit from sales will go to the family to help them recoup from this devastating event. They will also be sharing the information for people to donate on this site. If you will be in NYC and can stop by it is supposed to be a fun event with champagne and treats to to with some amazing art. No obligation to buy. For details here is the auction link. http://bit.ly/SundaysAuctionInfo
Thanks Jess to you and your partners for your support. It means the world to them!

Thank you all for your continued support and donations. Please keep sharing and spreading the word about this site for the Danzilo family. Here is an update from Tami:
Tamara Berretta Danzilo Hello Everyone! Just wanted to give you all an update on our situation. The contractors started Monday!!!! They say maybe, just MAYBE, we can be in by Christmas... Which would be the best present of all!! STILL waiting to hear how much insurance is going to give us. The guy already told Anthony it's not going to be $70,000. The job is costing us $80,000! Then it's off to FEMA to basically beg them to consider giving us a few bucks since we don't have contents coverage :(. Then, after that, we need to take out a specialized loan to pay the difference. Good times... Lol I just wanted to thank each and every one of you again for donating. You guys are helping so much! You're buying my kitchen table and chairs! Love you all! Bless you! Thanks a million times over xoxoxox

Last week Hurricane Sandy flooded Tami and Anthony's Wantagh home with
seawater and home heating fuel. They lost almost everything. The house
had to be gutted. Their furniture, appliances, wedding pictures, home
videos and other belongings were destroyed. They are awaiting
contractors to start the rebuilding process. Insurance will pay for
some but not nearly all of their replacement costs. After living with
a few great friends this last week, they are moving into a hotel with their two
small children and the family dog Sammy while they rebuild. This is coming after a particularly
harrowing year for them as Tami
underwent brain surgery for an Aneurysm just this past February.
Many
people have been asking me how they can help, what they can donate.
Since they are not in their house right now the best thing we can do
for them is to set up a fund for them to use as they are able to piece their lives back together.
A
little, together, will go a long way. Thoughts and prayers are with all whom have been effected. xoxo

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped us during these difficult times. It means so incredibly much to us that you guys are there for us. Your prayers are much appreciated :) it is SO heartwarming to see so many of you reaching out to us especially after such a difficult start to the year w/ my brain surgery. I love all of you and truly thank you from the bottom of my heart. We're getting by day by day, living in a hotel room in Holtsville; soon we'll be in Plainview I hope. I'll keep you all posted :)
