My student, Katherine, was born with ABS (Amniotic Band Syndrome). This condition affects the growth of limbs. Katherine recently told her mother, who is currently battling cancer, "Mommy, I want a hand for Christmas!" Insurance does not cover a prosthesis, so we are trying to raise the $6,000 needed. I know this family personally, and I know that together we can make a big difference in their lives. What a beautiful Christmas miracle this would be! Hello, I wanted to let everybody know that today was the fitting for Katherine's prosthetic, we feel so happy and bless ....The hand will be ready in 2 weeks.. Thanks to everyone that help us, specially to Mrs. Bocken for being an amazing and caring teacher...Thanks to all of you too!!
