Support Lyndsie's Recovery
Donation protected
Lyndsie Coon, our friend, fellow climber and expat suffered a very serious climbing accident last Sunday, September 30th at Seonunsan Provincial Park in Jeollabuk-do, Gochang-gun, South Korea. Read more about the accident on the accident report.
Lyndsie has taught in Korea for several years now and has become a part of the growing expat climbing community. Many of us have enjoyed our time spent with Lyndsie at crags around Korea, Thailand and back in the US.
This site has been created to serve as a space where people can show their support for Lyndsie by donating to her recovery fund.
Lyndsie's helicopter rescue, surgery, and hospital stay has already exceeded $10 million KRW(approx $9,000 USD). Lyndsie is expected to be in the hospital for approximately 2 months meaning this number will continue to rise. In addition, Lyndsie had just arrived back to Korea about 1 month ago and is not covered under the Korean National Health Care Plan that many of us ESL teachers are.
Please help support Lyndsie and her family by donating to this fund.
