Volunteering Opportunity to Help Special Needs Children
I perform numerous charitable efforts each year with the focus being to teach art to those who may not normally be able to find ways to express themselves in artistic ways. Costs continue to increase. Until recently, I have funded all teaching efforts myself when dealing with charitable causes. I can no longer continue to fund these events alone. The economy being what it is today, I must ask for help from other kind-hearted, giving individuals and businesses who would like to see the arts grow stronger in our world. Expressing ourselves through the arts is one of the strongest methods we have to expand creative thinking and imagination. These skills are held by all those who have contributed great things to the society of mankind.
In November I will be continuing my efforts to keep the arts alive for our future generations by volunteering to help children with disabilities learn carving skills. I am honored to have been asked to take part in this current event helping these amazing youth to learn how to express themselves through art. Contributing to the successful future of a school for children with disabilities and its students will definitely fulfill my life's goals.
It is my wish to leave carving tools and the other needed supplies for the children to continue their artistic expressions at the school after the lessons are completed. Teaching a skill and not providing the tools to use the skills learned makes little sense. With your help this will be possible. Please consider, this event will help these children provide for their own futures and the school's ability to provide for future students.
Two of the major items we will want to leave for the students are a Razertip Dust Collector and a Ram Micromotor Carving tool (click the item to see a photo of it). There are other items needed as well, such as; various burrs for the carving tool and filter pads for the air filter.
