The Axe Kickers are a Flagstaff based roller derby team created by students for students. Skates for Skaters was first started to help girls who wished to participate in the Axe Kickers roller derby team at NAU, but are unable afford the gear. Having quality equipment and gear is essential to both building the foundations of a derby girl as well as the safety of our participants.
By sponsoring the Skates for Skaters project, you can help our members who would otherwise be unable to skate and be a part of our growing derby family. Your support will help fund about five girls, providing them with skates, helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards, all while giving them the time of their lives!
