'Christmas Cook Up' Soup Kitchen

Every Friday for past 12 months Miranda has been donating her time by cooking for her local soup kitchen (Soupz On) in Cessnock. The staff and community of The Leadership Circle would like to support Miranda and the charity by providing an opportunity in Sydney on the 21st December to come together to peel, stir and pack..... But we understand that not everyone can spare the time that close to Christmas or make it to that location.
We've created an opportunity to donate via GoFundMe.
Background
SoupzOn have been feeding people in the Cessnock area for over 4 years, people that have no fixed address or those in crisis. The TAFE park in Cessnock becomes a safe haven and welcome community group for this group of people every Friday, Saturday and Monday night. Resources mean they are only able to feed around 30 people each night, however on Christmas Day they expect well over 60 people.
Any additional funds raised will support the charity moving forward, with a focus on finding a suitable permanent building to work from (they are still feeding people from the street) and addressing youth in crisis in their local area.
And as we said, if you can't make the date, you can still donate!
