The BWC Dental Clinic was established in 2011 to serve the hundreds of people of the remote village of Gatamaiyu, Kenya, who are in desperate need of extractions and fillings. We have been treating these patients WITHOUT the benefit of X-RAYS, which is unheard of in our country. With your help, we can get a PORTABLE DENTAL X-RAY UNIT to provide safer, predictable dental surgery. These units are invaluable but cost a lot. Please help us provide safer dental services by giving your support. Every dollar will get us closer to our goal. Donations are tax deductable. The people of Gatamaiyu and I will be grateful.

Patient Care
Since 2011, The Benjamin Wellness Center Inc. has been providing medical, dental and mental health care to the people of Gatamaiyu. Through the efforts of its founders, Peter and Gail Mbugua, and the dozens of volunteers, this incredible mission has made the impossible possible. In only 5 years, a medical / dental facility has been built and opened for the local people to get diagnoses, medications, antibiotics, vaccines, wound care and dental care. The huge impact on their lives is only the beginning of what is to come.

24 hours later she left with upper and lower dentures. Truly life changing. The dental division of the BWC has generously been supported in part by the Philadelphia area dental community. Three dental chairs and dental units have been generously donated and shipped to Kenya, in memory of Dr. Carole Hildebrand, DDS and William J. Gladstone, PE. Other donated dental equipment and supplies provide an operational clinic to relieve unbearable tooth pain and save teeth.
