Funeral Service Fund--Grandpa Passed from COVID-19

William Henderson, passed away on April 8, 2020, from coronavirus complications. My mom and stepdad were his caretakers, but due to the virus, neither are able to work. We know that everyone is struggling financially and emotionally at this time, but if you can spare any donations for the costs of his passing, we would sincerely appreciate it. The donations will be an immediate help to pay for his cremation and urn for his ashes. After the quarantine is over, we plan to hold a memorial service at his church, where he so loved to spend his Sundays and Wednesdays. Afterward, our plan is to lay his urn to rest with his wife, our grandma, who passed years ago. 

My grandpa was perhaps the happiest person I have ever known. No matter what, even when he was in the hospital, if you asked him how he was doing, he would say with a smile, "Oh, I'm doing good." Although we weren't able to see him in person due to the quarantine, we would Facetime and call him every day. He said that he felt loved. He was loved.

Our grandpa was a veteran, a music lover, and a wonderful husband to our grandma who passed years ago. After she passed, we moved him to Bakersfield to live with us. He was so happy to be around family, and we were so happy to be around him. We will miss him, his smile, his laugh, and his kind words. A bright light has been taken from this world.
