Support Jennifer Diallo on her healing journey

UPDATE:

Jennifer is cleared to move forward with Whipple surgery on 4/25, which takes a minimum of five hours and involves an extensive reorientation of her digestive organs.

As Jennifer shared on her CaringBridge site, "The surgeon said only 1 in 5 people are able to have this surgery and of those who do qualify, only 1 in 5 will be cured of cancer permanently. I am now one of the 1 in 5 who are good candidates for surgery. My intention is to be one of the 1 in 5 whose cancer is completely cured after having the Whipple surgery. Please continue to see that intention into reality along with me."

Jennifer is on a strong path to beating cancer, but the Whipple recovery process is long and she'll need additional support. She is exploring the possibility of staying in a facility where she can be cared for around the clock, or potentially hiring an in-home caregiver. Naturally, this will be costly and challenging to navigate while she's prioritizing her wellbeing.

At the beginning of December 2022, Jennifer was unexpectedly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Jennifer is handling this news with a courageous spirit and a keen focus on healing.

We’re so thankful Jennifer has insurance, but we expect the treatments will consume a lot of her energy and resources. Several loved ones have asked Jennifer how they can help, so I wanted to create this GoFundMe to ease the stress and financial burden as Jennifer embarks on this journey.
