A VICTIM OF A MAN'S VIOLENCE

On 8/5/14 my niece Anishya Douglas was brutally beaten by a man over a game of dice rather than losing his money he savagely beat her leaving severe bite marks on her body, a swollen face which is accompanied by a black eye, no human deserves to be beaten this way and epically a girl at the hands of a man.
On 8/6/14 Anishya was in her apartment complex where she resides and walked over to a close friend of her mother’s home, knocked on the door and to her surprise the man who violently assaulted her was standing in the apartment, spotting her at the door he aggressively approaches and began to taunt and verbally assault her, all while reaching into his pants to pull out his gun to finish the job he started the night before. Fearing for her life and being on the receiving end of his violent and brutal rage the night before Anishya pulls a weapon of her own and tragically the man is fatally shot. Scared, afraid and alone she runs away from the scene of the crime.
On 8/14/14 my niece was arrested without incident. Charges of murder have been filed but myself and the witness named in the police reports believe this is a clear case of self defense. After seeing these pictures of the injuries she sustained at the hands of this man it is my prayer that you will find it in your heart to help the family on retaining a defense attorney. No human deserves to die at the hands of another, just as no women should ever be beaten at the hands of any man; my prayers go out to his family because both families are in mourning but both for different reasons...
