Deputy Foster Relief Fund

Donation protected
On 07-15-2015, while riding his motorcycle to work, Deputy Foster of the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office was the victim of a hit and run accident.  Deputy Foster sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.  The driver of the at-fault vehicle left Deputy Foster lying in the roadway with numerous injuries including a compound fracture of the leg.  Deputy Foster was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

As a relatively new employee to Tarrant County, Deputy Foster is not eligible for Family Medical Leave or Sick Leave Sharing program.  Within a pay period, Deputy Foster will be out of benefit time and will no longer receive pay or insurance coverage from the county.

Deputy Foster has not been with the S.O. long, but in his time here, he has endeared himself to everyone whom he has had contact with.  His unwavering sense of humor and calm demeanor in all situations make him an example to others.  Deputy Foster is a dedicated husband and father who is as good a friend as he is an officer.

I believe that we, as a Law Enforcement Community, have a responsibility to help out our own in times of trouble.  Please donate what you can in order to help this exemplary Deputy get back to serving his community.  Thank You.
