The Mildred High School National Honor Society is working towards bringing happiness to the kids in the Dallas Children's Hospital and their families.
Our goal is to provide over 100 children with a stuffed animal, and a colorful pillowcase to bring them some joy in their current state. We also plan on providing a home cooked meal for the families staying in the Ronald McDonald House near the hospital.
Our group will be hand sewing pillowcases from bullk fabric. Any funds we recieve will help cover the cost of the raw fabric and thread for the pillow cases as well as that of the food for the families of the children. We plan to cook the meal and deliver the care packages to the children on April 5, and would like to reach our goal by the end of March.
Completing this project means a lot to us, and it will mean a lot to the children and their families.
