Zack Dill

Zack Dill is a 13-year-old who is currently battling a third round of Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. He was first diagnosed in January 2014 and underwent an aggressive chemotherapy treatment plan. Zack went into remission and was able to go back to school that Fall. In mid-April of 2015, doctors found that Zack's cancer was back and had spread to several places in his body. Zack was accepted into a clinical trial at UCSF Research Hospital, which meant many trips back and forth to San Francisco. The trial was successful for Zack and he was considered in remission June 2016. Since then, Zack has been attending school full time- enjoying the field trips and 7th/8th grade dances and everything else life has to offer.

As of last week, our hearts are heavy to report that Zack has again had a relapse. He has a clinical trial scheduled in San Francisco starting July 9th and it could go as long as 10 or so months- 6 days in the city the first week, 2 days the 2nd and 3rd week on a 3 week cycle. The family is trying to figure out how he can still attend 8th grade at his school. They will do their best to keep everyone updated here and on Facebook, and appreciate all of your prayers, good vibes, help, etc. Friends of the family have set up this fundraising account to assist the family with extra expenses, such as fuel, food, co-pays, and extra child-care for their disabled five-year-old daughter. Any amount you can donate to this very special child and his family will mean so much to them. Thank you for your generosity! You can also follow Zack on Facebook: Zack Attack Team.
