The Fight For Infant -Brandon Tyler

Please take the time to read this story of a family that just endured the most heart wrenching news, informing them their 5 month old baby boy, Brandon, must undergo open heart surgery to fix a hole in his heart. He desperately needs this surgery and it can not be prolonged. Brandon is an amazing little baby that has been fighting for his life since the day he was born. Without the surgery baby Brandon will not be able to have the life as other healthy kids are so entitled. This is an amazing family that has nothing but love pouring through their veins in support for Brandon. My name is JonMark M. I am the Grandfather of this precious 5 month old baby boy.This fund idea is my way of trying to help the parents anyway I can as they are very loving and proud people that would never ask for help. My daughter Kaley and her husband Jason are both Military Personnel  that have been on multiple deployments for the United States Of America over the past few years. They love this child more than words can convey. The child has spent most of his 5 months of precious life in the hospital . We know this little man is a fighter by nature and he will live a fulfilling and productive life with the proper care and help. I will be the first to donate to this project out of love and concern. We all need help at times. Please join me in giving back to a child that deserves a chance in this world.
After I told my daughter Kaley I was doing this, she had no choice in the matter but to accept some help.

*The statement below helps to explain Brandon's conditions.

My sweet 5 month old son Brandon was born with Trisomy 21 Down Syndrome and cardio-pulmonary hypertension (CPH). CPH is a disorder where the blood pressure in the lungs is significantly higher than the rest of the body. This can cause breathing issues as he  developed Apnea because of CPH. Due to having CPH Brandon's right ventricle (heart) has become enlarged from having to pump to hard. Issues that come with an enlarged heart range from congestive heart failure or just running out of room. His cardiologist explained that this condition never gets better, it could stay the same or get worse. The only cure for this condition is a lung transplant. We pray that it does not come to that. Brandon has spent many nights in the hospital with his daddy and me right by his side. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and all that is given to Brandon will be paid forward to someone in need once we get back on track.
We just learned yesterday (7/22/15) that our baby will be having open heart surgery in the next 60 days in order to close a large hole that developed between the 2 ventricles in his heart.
