The DiFiore Center needs YOUR help to repair this amazing community art's hub and education center!
Here's the story:
The sixty-three year old historic Orval Hafen house, in downtown St. George Utah, now home to the Roene B. DiFiore Center for Arts and Education, has become unable to continue it's daily operation due to the fact that the main waterline into the center has burst. Not only does the main waterline need to be replaced, in conjunction, the historic rose garden has been torn up, sidewalks have been jackhammered, and walls have been opened up to accommodate the repairs.
The DiFiore Center, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, is a hub for St. George community arts. It is a home to various organizations including:
Arts Council of Washington County
The Space Between Theatre Company
St. George Dance Company
The New Horizons Band and Orchestra
The Utah Mural Arts Foundation
Zion Music Ensemble
Laughing Cactus Puppetry Guild
Rogue Digital Film and Media Arts Association
Utah Pop Art Association
As well, the center is a gathering place and
houses dozens of community arts organizations for meetings, classes, workshops and events to include concerts, wedding receptions, and theatrical productions.
