Before and After a Moment of Rage

It only takes a moment of rage to go from a thriving beautiful young lady to a victim of domestic violence. Rebecca was only 35 years old when her husband stabbed her 22 times. My baby girl became a victim. Did I know of the violence - no, because victims attempt to keep their families safe by hiding the violence.
So where did Becca turn for help? Was there even any help when she needed it? Was there a place to go? What could be done? 
Those questions are my plea to you -as a mother, sister, aunt, cousin, father, brother, friend-or just human we need to find a way to stop such violence, to protect our children and friends. I serve on the Board for HomeSafe Inc. a nonprofit organization serving Wilson, Robertson, and Sumner Counties. While federal grants help pay salaries and educational programs there are other debts such as utilities, food. clothing and much more that we are dependent on the public for assistance.
Will you please help us raise the money needed  to repair/renovate/remodel our shelter? Better yet, with enough support, we could build a new shelter to serve more in need and prevent continued loss of life like Becca. I beg of you let's get help to those in our area that need the help and save others before a MOMENT OF RAGE causes a BEFORE AND AFTER for your loved one or friend.
