The mission of Tumaini Volunteers is to help underprivileged communities thrive by providing projects to help make them more self-sustainable.  Our vision is to put together teams of volunteers to travel to Kenya to complete these projects.

As co-founder of Tumaini Volunteers Inc., I will be traveling to Kenya with another volunteer this October. We will be researching potential projects for a future team to complete. Some of the projects we will be considering are building chicken coops, building a greenhouse, furnishing a medical outreach clinic, and establishing a store for selling locally made arts and crafts.

Estimated cost of this trip for myself is $3000.
