Mike Williams Hampton Roads Drummer

We found out that our good friend, well known & much loved Hampton Roads drummer, Mike Williams, was recently admitted to the hospital  for problems with his heart.

The good news is, Mike was released from the hospital, and is on the road to recovery! However, Mike's ability to maintain his usual work/busy gigging schedule will be severely impacted. During this challenging period, Mike needs the help of his many friends.  

We know that all of you who know Mike love him as much as we do! We immediately reached out to him while he was still hospitalized, offering to assist him in setting up this page as a way to reach out to all of you. Only Mike will have access to donated funds. 

Please dig deep, any amount you can offer will help Mike get through this setback!

A message from Mike, giving more info about his situation:

What has happened is I had gone to the hospital because I had a weak heart.
In other words, my left artery had 80 percent blockage in it where standard is 55 percent blockage. During the catheterization, a doctor came into the room and said to me Mr Williams, I have good news for you! He said, remember we said it was 80 percent blockage? I said yes. He said, well, it's actually 60 percent blockage. What that meant is there's going to be no need for me to have any type of surgery. No stent in my heart, to help with the blockage, and everything else will be preventable and controllable by medicine!!

Basically, I have dodged a bullet.

Because of not having any money, or a very good paying job, or insurance, I'm going to need help with my forthcoming bills.
