Aid for Typhoon Haiyan Victims

Donation protected
Typhoon Haiyan (known as Yolanda in the Philippines) was the strongest storm ever to have hit the planet ,with gusts of up 350 km/hour winds at its center. On November 8, 2013, it made a beehive for the Philippines, battering the country and causing wanton damage wherever it made landfall. Entire towns and villages have been flattened, fatalities is estimated to be 10,000 people dead in Leyte alone, and millions have been displaced. A state of calamity has been declared in the islands of Leyte, Cebu, and Iloilo.
This personal fundraising campaign is to generate funds to support Gawad Kalinga-Philippines to distribute rice, bottled water and food packs to flood victims. One food pack can feed one family for four days and costs just about 5 euros.

So with 2,000 euros we can help feed 400 suffering families for almost week, which would go a long way in alleviating their misery as they try to rebuild their homes and their lives.

You've probably helped me before in a similar campaign and I'm counting again on your continued kindness and generosity.
More information on Gawad-Kalinga is available on their web site at: http://gk1world.com/typhoon-yolanda
