Helping Heroes

Hello, my name is Kesly. I am a regular twenty-something girl who was struck by an idea the other day for a fund  designed  to increase the morale, heighten the spirits, and create an overall more productive and positive enviorment for our troops while they are deployed. The fund is called S.P.I.F. (Special Performance Incentive Fund). This fund is used for nothing other than to give our troops fun and awesome prizes when they go above and beyond. The group i am fundraising for right now will be a squadron of sailors that we will sponsor for their entire deployment. The more funds I raise the more  commands I can sponsor. SO DONATIONS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AS WELL AS PASSING THE WORD ON. Sailors on deployment in particular can begin to feel like they have nothing to work for after being on a ship for a long time in such close quarters, away from their families, and working extremely long exhausting hours to guarantee our freedom and safety. Think about it, they are not really working towards a goal per se out there, they are just working on a time limit. These poor men and women are just sitting and counting the days in their tiny beds until they can go back home to the real world. I dont know about you, but this would make me SUPER SAD.  So, if we give them a few awesome prizes every month to compete for we can give them something to work for, a purpose, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, Since these funds come from regular people, it is a thank you to the people who are willing to put their lives and freedom on the line to protect ours. Awesome incentives for amazing individuals.
