T2: One Year to Go

Donation protected
On the morning of June 22, Sachiko Tomomatsu, an ELL teacher and Taiko Drumming Instructor of Loudoun County, passed away. Sachiko worked at Freedom High School, John Champe High School, and Park View High School. She was a beloved mother, friend, and a three-year breast cancer survivor.

Sachiko leaves behind her two daughters, Lya and Lyna. Both girls were accomplished LCPS students (Stone Bridge High School, Freedom High School) who continued on to college at James Madison, Georgetown, and George Mason (respectively). They were raised to be strong and resilient; however, the untimely loss of their mother has forced them to face life and its challenges independently sooner than expected. Each has one more year to finish their respective college degrees. In order to ensure that they are financially able to sustain themselves while they finish their degrees and pay for costs associated with their everyday expenses, we ask for your kindness in donating to this fund.

You can make your donation below, and we encourage you to share this link with any family members, friends, neighbors, and colleagues who may be able to contribute.

Thank you in advance for your generosity. Rest assured that these lovely girls will
