At 2:36am our family had a devastating loss. Our Brentwood (94513) home and everything we had was a complete loss to a fire.

Our home, which was previously owned by our great grandparents for 30+ years, a world world 2 veteran, is completely gone. We lost everything in the home. My family barely made it out, having to jump out of a window and hide in the back of the house and watch everything they had burn to the ground.

We lost several dogs and a cat, the fire spread so quickly and given the age and design of the home- prevented the family from being able to escape. Resulting in crawling out small 2 ft windows and falling over 10 feet into gravel when they were able to escape. The family hid behind a shed and took shelter under a wheel barrel before they lost consciousness and were registered as "Doe" at the hospital.

Any support, love or prayers would be appreciated. We are working on getting some clothing and small essentials. Family is still in the hospital and we are working to do everything we can to support . So the love goes a long way.
