The Red Bayou Show Capital Launch

The Red Bayou Show is hosted by Scott McKay and Brian Haldane. Each week, Scott and Brian interview a guest and talk about Louisiana's political issues. We've spent the last 12 weeks - and 12 episodes - cranking out quality podcast content with prominent local guests, including community leaders, elected officials, media personalities and others.

But now it's time to turn The Red Bayou Show into Louisiana's premier political podcast. We're in need of some "capital" improvements in order to grow, including things like radio headsets and some other equipment, a website for the show and even a startup-sized promotion budget to goose the listenership to the point where it can generate some sponsorship dollars. And the thing is, both of the show's hosts are swamped with other things - so making those projects a Bob Vila DIY affair just isn't going to work from a time management standpoint. We're going to have to spend some cash on this stuff.
