Stray Aid - Stray dog charity

Stray Aid - A stray dog's best friend.

A rescue and rehoming centre in North East England for dogs that have been found straying or abandoned in County Durham.

Glenn, the completely blind Jack Russell, goes everywhere with his best friend and permanent guide dog Buzz, the Staffordshire bull terrier. The pair were rescued from a sea tunnel in Hartlepool last month and are currently being cared for by the Stray Aid rescue centre in Coxhoe, County Durham. Buzz helps Glenn find his bed and food, even pushing him toward the right bowl if he’s eating from the wrong one.

We need to make some extra money to make sure that Buzz and Glenn find the best home they can, along with their other friends in the animal shelter.

Every penny from this will go to Stray Aid at Coxhoe to make sure the animals get the best treatment they can - if we make enough, we could even have a brand new kennel block dedicated to the dynamic duo so that more dogs like them can be helped :-)
