My name is Joe Celej and I am a New York City based creative artist whose career spans nearly fifteen years of professional concert dance performance, choreographic investigation, and the sharing of my experiences and passion for dance in a range of classroom settings. Help me and my three incredible dancers travel to Newport, RI where I will present my works What More? and Echoes and Coral at the Great Friends Dance Festival presented by the Island Moving Company for performances July 21-25th. Learn more about the dancers HERE
Set in the intimate Great Friends Meeting House, built in 1699, the Great Friends Dance Festival brings concert dance to Newport, RI for two remarkable weeks of performances. Learn more about the festival HERE
I am endlessly excited to participate in this year's installment of Great Friends, but as there is no financial support for the festival participants, your support is vital to getting us there!!
Every donation received will be used to cover all of our travel and per diem expenses, compensate the performers for their incredible talents and energy, and cover rehearsal space costs.

Any donation of $50 or more will receive a print of one of the works that I am presenting!
