The Amy and Andrew Fund: Many of you know of my sister Sandy, who passed away this week from pancreatic cancer. She leaves behind 2 teenagers, Amy 17 and Andrew 19. Sandy's husband Darin died several years ago from ALS.
I am trying to raise money to support Amy and Andrew so they can continue to live in the house they have grown up in. We have created a trust that we hope will accumulate enough money to pay the house payment and utilities for a couple of years, as we transition these two kids from teenagers to young adults.
In their own neighborhood, they are surrounded by cousins, aunts, uncles, grandma, neighbors and lifelong friends. We are grateful for the abundance of food and adult guidance that has been provided in the recent months as my sister battled cancer. This battle had rendered her unable to work and depleted most of her savings.
Any amount, no matter how small, will be gratefully accepted. We love you all, thank you.
