My amazing friend joni yung watched her bike get stolen off the front of an LA metro bus on Sunday, June 21. (Come on! Who steals a bike from a bus?!) She ran after the culprit, but couldn't catch him because, you know... he was riding away on her awesome bike!
So it occurred to me this is an incredible opportunity for those who love this sassy, free-spirited, amazing woman to step in, step up, and put together some cash to help joni get a new bike. The $1250 will give her some cash to get a new bike that will serve her needs, as well as the biking accessories that are SO important (lights, bells, lock, etc.), especially for people like joni who use a bike not just for recreation and exercise, but commuting in LA as well.
Joni lives each day so fully and gives so much of her bright light and energy to the world in each moment. She's out on a grand adventure every weekend in LA (on her bike!), and I've always known her as someone who reaches out and selflessly offers all kinds of support to her friends and colleagues – showing up to our events, promoting us through her social media pages, supporting the yoga and kirtan community, and so much more.
