Heros for Angela's Cancer treatment

I am a PhD student at Durham in the UK. Angela is my mum. She was diagnosed with Endometrial Carcinoma in Nov 2012; underwent hysterectomy (Surgical removal of the Uterus),  had 5 doses of radiation and was in remission for about 1 year. Unfortunately, in 2013, an excruciating pain in her back made her visit her oncologist and the scan result discovered that the cancer had returned aggressively and had spread to her bladder. Surgery and Chemotherapy were suggested at the time. However the risk associated with the surgery was very high with a possibility of interfering with her bladder. Courageously, she decided to heal herself with a complete diet change and she succeeded!

Early this year,  (March, 2015) I heard the terrifying news from Nigeria that a more recent scan revealed that while two of the earlier tumours had shrunk significantly, the third continued to grow aggressively, even spreading to her cervix this time. As you will imagine, I was destabilised and thrown off balance by this bad news from home! 

Angela has an unwavering faith and she is resolute to keep fighting. My siblings and I are in this with her. Even though she maintains a very positive attitude despite all the cancer peaks and valleys she has walked in these past several years, I do not want to return back home after my studies just to realise my mum is no longer there. Angela has been a very kind mother who has stood by me, my siblings and even people she hardly knew. We want to join her in this battle for her life. And we hope to get all the support that everyone around her can provide.

At the moment, her case has been assessed and accepted by a hospital in Mexico and the treatment will cost 50,000USD. All expenses has been estimated to 55,000USD (38,000GBP). So far, we have gathered 25,000USD (17,000GBP) and are soliciting for the outstanding 30,000USD (21,000GBP). We are putting up this fund raising page for her cause knowing that every little donation will eventually add up and be highly appreciated.  We would be even more grateful if you could forward this link to your friends and families.
