A foundation on behalf of William (Bill) Glaser
For over 35 years Bill Glaser has delivered mail through rain, snow, sleet and hail, and nothing has kept this mail-carrier from making his deliveries. Today he needs a very special delivery of his own. Bill is in the process of being placed on the Liver Transplant list, and will be patiently waiting for a donor.
Despite the countless years of the undiagnosed illnesses, Bill has continued to maintain his healthy lifestyle. In October 2014, Bill began having numerous surgeries and they diagnosed him with Primary Sclerorsing Cholangitis (PSC). He wasn't going to let this diagnosis keep him down. No matter what, you can find him at the gym. He has been an avid runner for over 30 years and continues to run and work out daily. He knows that receiving a liver will prolong his life for another 30 years with his healthy lifestyle.
His excellent health makes him an ideal candidate for the transplant. The overall success rate of liver transplants is 98%; knowing that he has made it a mission to be the healthiest recipient of a donated organ.
100% of the proceeds will be used for the expenses involved with his procedure, as well as the before and after care. All unused monies will be donated to the American Liver Foundation on behalf of “Deliver a Liver for William Glaser” to assist in future research.
