Bill Rogers Foundation Fundraiser

The Bill Rogers Youth Foundation plans to create an important development center for youths who greatly require assistance. The Bill Rogers Youth Foundation Development Center will provide a clean, modern shelter with 22 bedrooms, as well as the necessary facilities and staff to enhance the educational and athletic talents of Liberian youth in need. Our vision is to provide a central base that will expose Liberian youth to many life-changing opportunities available through sporting and recreational activities, while also providing resources to additionally address other social and personal needs.

A vast majority of Liberian children and teens live in extreme poverty and receive no formal schooling. Many have very little or no food to eat and often have no clean water to drink. Between the violent and disruptive, past local civil wars and the recent tragic Ebola outbreak in Liberia, our people – and especially our children – have been devastated.

The Bill Rogers Youth Foundation is here to provide hope and comfort to the youth of Liberia. To do this, we need your help today. We have set a fundraising goal of $250,000, which we would like to raise by December of 2015. This fund will allow key members of the foundation to travel to Liberia, determine construction requirements, hire contractors, enlist critical center staff and ultimately build the development center.
